Q: Is Relational Energy Healing a form of Reiki?
A: Not really. Reiki is a specialized, initiatory form of energy work, where you are taught certain techniques and then implement them with a client. It is not therapeutic work, and does not include an evolutionary approach to the chakras. Dean does not offer Reiki work.
Q: What about Brennan Healing Science? Since you taught at BBSH do you offer Barbara Brennan work?
A: Again, no. Brennan Healing Science is a proprietary system heavily tied into the business model of The Barbara Brennan School of Healing (BBSH). It is a collection of healing skills wedded to Barbara Brennan’s model of the auric field. Q: So, what is the aura, or the Auric Field?
A: The aura is the field of bio-energy consciousness that surrounds and interpenetrates all living beings. As we human beings become more conscious we are beginning to perceive reality beyond the normal range of our everyday senses. We begin to want more from our lives. The aura contains the imprint of both our past and our potential for the future. The aura is both the energetic “hardware” and “software” that makes change possible.
Q: What are Chakras?
A: Chakras are a vital part of our energetic “hardware”, and spring out of the spinal cord. These non-visible energy centers organize both physiological and psycho-emotional functioning in human beings. Trained energy healers perceive them as wheels of light, or vortexes of energy that run the length of the body. Relational Energy Healers follow the ancient yogic insight that the chakras resemble flowers with a vibrant center (to receive or emit relational energy cords) and several “petals”.
Q:What is a “relational” energy field?
A: The Relational Energy Field is the energetic template of how we relate to and perceive other individuals. Relational Energy work is a process that supports personal and interpersonal transformation through the healing of our relationships. I think we would all agree that human beings are profoundly relational creatures. Since higher personal levels of development are reflected in and transformed by a client’s auric body, the healing process consists of in-depth work on the energy psychology of chakra development, chakra cords, Prana or Qi transmission, and the clearing of Astral Thought-Forms.
Q: Are telephone sessions as effective as in-person sessions?
A: For most people the answer is a definite “yes”. Psychic connection does not drop off in effectiveness according to physical distance. Dean uses the information supplied by you prior to the session, along with a recent photograph, in order to psychically “tune” into you and to direct energy healing into your system. Also, many people feel safer by receiving energy work in the comfort and convenience of their own home. For the past fifteen years most of Dean’s private sessions have been long-distance, and they are very effective.

Q: I want to design my own web site, and I need help. Who created this web site?
A: This web site was graphically designed by Christian David Holmes, and is optimized and maintained by Bradley Spencer. Dean highly recommends both of these professionals for WordPress design, and especially Brad for Search Engine Optimization.
Q: I live too far away from a healing school, and some of them are really expensive, but I really want to learn more. What do you suggest?
A: Dean will be teaching teleclasses in early 2009. Send him an email with a request to be added to the mailing list. Additionally, there are many books and audio courses that can support your self study.
Q: How do I pay for a session?
A: After each session Dean will send you a PayPal “bill”, with which you can pay using your bank account or your credit card.
Q: Can I take material from your web site, such as your articles, photos, and artwork, and post them on my own web site or blog?
A: Please do not take any of Dean Ramsden’s material without permission. He is happy for you to link to his articles as long as you credit the source, but do not claim the material as your own. (Oh, and don’t edit his writing and then post the edited version on your blog; that is so wrong.) A lot of the art work on this site was commissioned by Dean, and he took many of the photographs. Music on his audio programs is with the artist’s permission or he obtains a license for commercial usage from them. So, please link; don’t pilfer or steal. The Karma Police are watching all of us.
